Update - Check Out to Stay Informed!

Hello Beautiful Lovelies, I have been on my blog a lot more lately and posting up also twice for a day. However, some of you that may have been following will notice my layout has changed once again! It's not that I was bored or wanted it changed but it had to be because of my PAGES section would not allow full view of what I had written. So, yes it has changed again; I did try to make it similar to the white but also making sure that every section of this blog was visible to view without any problems. I actually like the color of this new layout even though I was trying to opt for white as the background. How my blog works now since it may look bare and empty to most of you but everything is located at the very bottom of the posts, so if you're looking for: About Me, Pages, Blog Archive, Categories, Followers or to see Live Traffic Feed it is all located down below! :D To view each post that I have written just click on the title name of that post and it will pop up for you to read and view the whole post. Also, I have decided that when I do an update I will use this photo to allow users to know it's an update ramble post. So, if you see this and don't want to read then you may skip but my update posts are very clear in title so that shouldn't be a problem really. I would also like to note that I have update some posts from the past with real images of the items instead of the internet photos I had on previously. I did that for the posts on : Taylor Swift, Cuff Bracelet, Bobbi Brown Blush Peony, Marc Jacobs Pomegranate, OPI Dim Sum Plum and OPI Significant Other. I also updated the QUOTES section of my blog since I haven't done that in a really long time so that's newly updated also. Some other worthy things to mention for you blog readers is that my PAGES section will be changing also in the next few days. I also will be updating the TALK BOOSTER section as well because that is a couple months old and needs a new update. I still need to finish the posts of TREASURE YOURSELF & MY SKIN CARE ROUTINE, so that will also be finished before anything new gets posted up. I have made up a calendar for myself for April as a guideline of what to post, yet it will change I am sure as to what I want to post certain days for whatever reason. I hope this will help with staying on track with regular blog post updates for you guys to view/read. I also need to finish the Bobbi Brown Book post as well along with the Marc Jacobs follow up perfume post, so stay on the look out for those two updates within a week or two. I think this is all that I need to mention on this update, if I missed anything just leave a comment and I will get back to you. Thank you greatly for staying and reading this update! Maybe I will get to the Talk Booster tonight so that it's up but no guarantees.

Bahamas with Bobbi Brown!?

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Bronzer which I am in love with! I love this product and was definitely worth the money. I think it was $45 CAD which yeah sure it seems expensive but for me it's definitely a great product which I love. It just does wonders for my skin & brightens up my face especially the days when I look super tired and I just splash some of this on, what a brighting difference from tiredness to glowy wakeness. It just gives my cheeks that extra pop and makes my skin look sun kissed. I honestly don't know much else to say about this product really. I have been using it here and there over a couple of months now. However, I will admit I do not use it all the time because I do not wear makeup all the time everyday I just randomly wear makeup. However, this product has been a definte go to lately since I always look so tired and people can see it in my face, so I feel this product really helps brighten my face. This is pretty much it that I have to say on this product. Just to mention though I am 07 Bahamas in Bobbi Illuminating Bronzer. :D

drunk off of nothing but EACH OTHER til the Sun Rise

Hello Again Beautiful Lovelies! [Another post tonight! Wooo hooo!! ;)]

Well I was at the mall I ended up going into the book store to see all the new magazines that were out. I got pretty much every issue that was on newstand except a few, however I am going to get the Glamour magazine tomorrow after work. I also purchased a book to read even though I have a book to read already, but the book I picked up was Water for Elephants! I really was interested in reading it and also the movie is coming out soon with Reese Witherspoon & Robert Pattinson which looks amazing from the trailer that I have seen so far. Anyways I thought I'd post the magazines I purchased today! I also have another post for you guys tomorrow; I think possibly 2 posts again because I have a lot I want to post but I don't want to post everything all in one day. Anyways.. I will get onto it now, enjoy! :D

Rainbow Cupcakes!!!

Hello Beautiful Lovelies! :D

So today, I decided to make rainbow cupcakes because it is one of my co-workers birthday tomorrow and she won't be at work tomorrow since it's her birthday! I didn't want to give it to her the day after her birthday, so I did it today and dropped it off at work! She was so surprised, that was just fabulously great and I love to see people caught off guard not expecting anything. It makes my day! This is definitely a recipe to do when you have a day off of work or after work when you have time and nothing to really do because it takes time to do this process. Anyways ...

The ingriedents you will need is :

- a box of white cake mix moist [I used Betty Crockers Moist White cake mix]

-> water or milk can be used

-> vegetable oil

-> 3 eggs or 3 egg whites

- food coloring [Gel food coloring or liquid food coloring I used the liquid because I couldn't find the gel but the gel would give a more vibrant color than the liquid!]

- icing/gel icing for detailing & sprinkles [that's if you want to decorate it]

I didn't choose to decorate them with icing or anything because they already present themselves with just being so colorful I didn't really feel the need. Although I did do one like that but left the rest plain without icing.

So you will want to follow the instructions on the cake mix box first. After that process then evenly distrbiute the batter into 6 cups, preferably disposable so you can just throw them away, so you will have less clean up! Then apply the food coloring once the batter is evenly distrubted. As for how much drops of each color you will need is this:

Purple: 9 red and 6 blue drops

Blue: 12 drops

Green: 12 drops

Yellow: 12 drops

Orange: 12 yellow and 4 red drops

Red: 18 drops

then mix the batter in each cup so the color will change because of course it's not just going to change by adding the drops alone, lol. :D

Once that is done line your cupcake pan with liners. I used the foil baking cups, so that way the cupcakes will be protected instead of turning brown by using just the thin plain lining cupcake liners. Evenly pour each color into place starting in this order to make the rainbow: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange & then red last. As you add each color gently use the back of a spoon to spread each color to cover the color underneath. After you have done that if you want to go for a tie-dye effect just take a tooth pick and swirl the batter and it will come out that way. However, I do not like that look because I feel like it looks sloppy and especially if it is for someone or for a party because you need to bring something. If it is for a childrens party then I think it would be fine but other than that, no I don't agree with that effect of tie-dye.

Once that is done just bake your cupcakes to however much it says on the box and waa laa! :D To decorate them just wait until they cool off to begin that process and you're good to go! I hope this was an interesting along with enjoyable post! I know my one co-worker messaged me how I did that. So I can guarantee this to be a big hit and splasher whereever you go since nobody I've seen or been to functions has done this. So you pretty well may be the highlight of the party or whatever it is you are invited to or giving to! :D

TREASURE YOURSELF

Good Late Evening to you Beautiful Lovelies!

So I was suppose to do this post a while back but never did it because I never did finish reading the book but tonight I have. I had been waiting for the release of this book for about 2-3 years because every time I heard about it in magazines it said it would be released soon but never the case. Anyways.. I randomly came across the topic of Miranda Kerr and decided to look into if the book she wrote has already came out or ever did. Just to my luck it had been but the catch it was not available to order from places within Canada or the states. I found out that it was still available to purchase from Australian so I ordered it because I just had to have this book. I was so excited to read about it and what she would have to offer in it. The book detailing is so beautiful. It looks just like a journal you would write in. The title of the book is such a beautiful pick, it definitely relates to what she is discussing in the book. I definitely loved reading this book, it was a great read. It's so full of positivity, it's unbelievable how much encouraging and inspiring thoughts come as you read this book. Once again, this is a quick read also.. however I don't think really it's a book to rush into to read. I think it's about taking your time to read it and let certain things sink in for you. I think that is why I took, so long to get to this post because I was really into it and thought I would finish it but I never did because every time I went back to read I just couldn't move forward. I think that was a sign to let everything I had sink in and not to rush into it. The time will come when my mind will be ready to read the rest of it to the complete end without any stopping. I think this would make a great gift but even more so I think it's a great read and excellent book to have in your collection but not only that to carry around or have on your nightstand. I definitely think this book is not one of those books to sit on your book shelf to collect dust. It's a definite helper, it can give you that positivity you need when you don't allow your mind access to out rule the negative thoughts you allow yourself to repeat. As I was reading the book I marked some of my notable things that stuck out at me that she talks about. I will follow in detail now. Just a little tid bit I purchased this book from the Kora website where Miranda Kerr has her own skin line in case anyone wants to purchase this book. :D Every thing that stuck out at me I bold, underlined or italicized.

Positivity #1
I would like to call it words of enlightenment to let us know what we may but do not allow ours to be aware of or don't know because we are not fully aware along with possibly doubt, lack confidence etc. So I decided to write the whole thing out even though I was only going to write the first page but I thought maybe someone will come across this and it will empower them some how. Titled:

YOU
It is not that we don't have the strength within us...
We have more strength than we could possibly imagine.
Most of us fail to see it within ourselves
yet so willingly see it in others.
What if we nurtured ourselves to the point where
we discovered and experienced our own greatness?
What if we finally realised that we are limited
only by our thoughts and by what we think is or
isn't possible for us? After all, that is the truth...
nothing more, nothing less.
It is our thoughts that determine our experiences,
not only of ourselves, but of our world and of others...

Too often we fail to see that at any give moment we have a
choice to alter our lives, our existence.

Too often we are driven automatically by who we think we
are or should be as opposed to who we possibly could be...

Sometimes we choose to be angry, ungrateful, resentful
and jealous when instead we have the ability to choose to
be accepting, forgiving and grateful for all that we have...

Choose [with goodness in your heart] to be brave,
courageous and adventurous in this world and
acknowledge all who are being just that, for they
have overcome what many have yet to overcome...
the fear of knowing who they really are.

Look forward and dream of what's possible for your life...
and remember that the only thing limiting
you is your thoughts.

Only you have the power to change your thoughts.
Alter your thoughts and you alter your world.

- Miranda Kerr

Positivity #2
Is talking about loving yourself and I believe a lot of us in this world lack that. We focus so much on others that we neglect ourselves and our inner light that needs nurturing. I for one can admit to this; I can admit to not fully loving myself to the ability I have inside of me but I have come to realize that it is an important aspect in getting to know yourself. The title of what she is talking about in this paragraph is called:
Loving yourself... Oscar Wilde said, 'To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance'. I believe that loving and treasuring yourself is essential for happiness. It's about treasuring who you are as a person and accepting, respecting and honoring yourself.
This is something I have struggled with personally. Loving yourself stems from the belief that 'Who I am is enough', and that the qualities you possess are unique, worthwhile and special. It is about being grateful for what you have been given, accepting who you are and being compassionate towards yourself. It's like a beautiful reflection. What you see in yourself is what you see in everyone else around you.

Positivity #3
How you have the ability to choose your circumstances in which you feel when you first get up in the morning and I agree. If you say negative things to start your day then that's the way you let it go but if you say something positive to start the day your day will be just that, positive! 'Today is going to be a wonderful day full of new and exciting experiences.' Once you allow your self and mind to think in such a way you allow for unlimited possibilities and opportunities as well as people are automatically drawn to you and your enthusiasm.

Positivity #4
What really stuck out at me here was the first sentence and I believe it's true. I believe it's true because their are people I have witnessed in my daily life-time that talk, talk, talk and never put anything into action. Most of the time it's because of the account of failure and would I say I have come to this cross roads before, most definitely. I just think you just need to not think of it as failure but rather tack it full force if it's something you want. It's better to know you tried then to not have tried at all and always wonder along with have what if in the back of you mind for the rest of your life.
Action is what separates the dreamers from those who actually live out their dreams. At first you might be afraid to take the first step because you fear you might fail, but I think failure as education -- it gives you the knowledge you need to succeed.

Positivity #5
Having SELF-CONFIDENCE and loving yourself along with being comfortable in your own skin. It's true, why compare yourself to someone else? You are beautiful, unique, valuable and intelligent and have many talents that make you you. So I think that's something to support and admire of yourself not what someone else has or does. The more you learn about yourself, the more you are able to love yourself and give compassion to others which from that flows love. When you accept and appreciate yourself you can handle any situation with class, dignity and respect.

Positivity #6
How someone notices something about us and we just feel they are saying it just because to be nice or whatever the case may be. When people give us compliments we need to receive them wholeheartedly and accept them as the gift they are because sometimes others have the ability to see our inner and outer beauty when we fail to see it ourselves.

Positivity #7
Being you vulnerable, authentic is what makes you you! It's what life needs, life wants what you have to offer the universe. Those people who are that way know their strengths, weaknesses and accept both. The authentic you isn't about being perfect for society's standards. It's about being REAL and the AUTHENTIC YOU is what counts.

Positivity #8
Doing what you want and not feeling guilty but being able to say no if you need to. Just standing up for yourself! Some people find it's better not to rock the boat but to be silent but that could be worse. It could be worse because you are accommodating others requests and ignoring your own desires. However, it's important that we stand up for ourselves and value ourselves enough to what we know is right and for what we want or else we will never get the things we want.

Positivity #9
PASSION, PASSION, PASSION! A good way to increase your confidence is finding your passion, which then allows for you to be determined and have belief. However, sometimes we allow ourselves to hide it behind the needs of others and we deny ourselves what we truly want.

Positivity #10
Treasuring yourself and limiting negative thoughts with positive thoughts. I think the best example of how to do that for yourself is by 'When I embrace myself and treasure who I am then love and respect flows into my life.' Treasuring yourself is about living a healthy life and the way we feel on the inside is what counts not the outside. It's the ability of feeling good about yourself and accepting yourself for who you are to carry a inner strength that empowers and makes our life productive.

Positivity #11
Relationships resemble the thoughts and values you hold within your life are also prevalent in the relationships we have with others. 'I strongly believe that the beliefs and values you hold about yourself and your life are reflected in all your relationships. Your relationships with others can tell you a lot about yourself.' The challenging relationships are the ones that make you become a better version of yourself. Relationships make us recognize our least desirable qualities or traits so we can recognize them. However, we shouldn't stay in relationships we have outgrown but to honor ourselves by walking away if the relationship no longer meets our needs.

Positivity #12
Letting Go and not allowing the people around who are changing to bother you because they are no longer in your life. It's normal and people are going to change but so are you! You are going to evolve your values and beliefs and begin to attract like-minded people. You will have the friends who will be with you for a lifetime but then their are the ones who 'are markers on the road that point you in the right direction or travel with you for a while until you or they choose another path.' Appreciating both helped added to the person you are today. At the end of the day real friends accept you for who you are and walk in when others walk out. Another thing I like that was mentioned was 'I was once told that if you wanted to see what type of person someone is, you just have to look at their friends. It's important to be around people who mirror real you and not to change who you are to fit in with other people.'

Positivity #13
Giving your all and not a half fast job. 'It's not necessary to wait for some big project; every small thing you do can have the power to transform your life. Once you start something positive, it will ripple outwardly and has the potential to touch the lives of others.' If you are going to invest your time and energy give it everything you got not just half of what you got. By just doing things half-heartedly you are robbing yourself of achieving your dreams and desires. If you give your full attention then you will always receive the greatest benefit.

Positivity #14
Letting your LIGHT SHINE instead of allowing low energy thoughts to dim out you light. It's about staying true to who you are and not about convincing others. When you allow yourself to switch on the light you begin to attract all sorts of interesting creatures. Convince yourself, no one else and be warm and bright and everyone will be attracted to you. You won't have to convince anyone because your positive, bright outlook will irresistibly attract them to you from the the outlook of yourself and the world.

Positivity #15
Making your Own Power Thoughts!
- Choose a phrase that describes what you desire but short and powerful
- Your statement MUST BE in the PRESENT tense. For example : 'I am passionate about school/my career' instead of ' I will be passionate about school/my career.' because the beginning is working on changing will the end indicates some time in the future.
- Your power thought should stem from a positive perspective instead of a negative one. Phrase in a positive way such as : 'I'm always passionate about my career' instead of 'I don't like my career when I'm not passionate about it.' as it places your career in a negative light
- Your power thought should always be said in first person, which is 'I'. Because it is always about you and not another person since you can only affect your own reality and happiness has to come from within before it can be extended to and from other people.

This is pretty much all I had to mention for this book but I will leave some power thoughts were in the rest of the book to give you some ideas of achieving your own.

My Skin Care Routine!

Hello Hello Good Day Beautiful Lovelies!

Today, I have decided to do two posts since I have been really lacking and that is on my part along with I still have been sick as well. I was wondering what post I should do because I have a lot of stuff written down but I think I will just do it on my skin care routine! I think that is something interesting; I know a lot of people like to know what products someone uses why there skin is so clear.

My skin care routine consistent of the products by Eveline Charles which are only sold in Canada. I am missing 2 of the products from the line and never chose to buy them but it hasn't affected my routine by not having them. I am sure if I bought them they would benefit more to the rest of the line of products I use. There are different types for the Eveline Charles line so my skin is Oily so I use the 'EQUILIBRE' line for Oily skin. As for the details on the steps I take in order of use I will mention here now:

Step 1 : Acne Solutions Nano Silver Cleanser
To be used twice daily, however I never use it twice daily to be honest. When I first started I did use it twice daily but I don't use it that many times now. I use it twice in my routine which I will explain. Rub cleanser in hands with water to produce cream. However, do not put the cleanser under the water because it loses it's ingredients that make it work propely if you do. Gentle apply to the face and neck and leave on up to six minutes or until skin tingles. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Step 2 : Pore Perfect Foaming Gel
Wet face and hands. Using your fingertips, apply to the face and neck, massaging in a light circular motion. Then rinse with lukewarm water. Use every morning and evening.

Step 3 : Cool Toner
Apply toner to a cotton pad and massage into face and neck using light circular motions. Using every morning and evening.

Step 4 : I use the nano silver again before I apply the next steps to open up the pores again.

Step 5 : For this step depends but sometimes I will do both but for the most part I just choose one mask to do. I will explain both of them here.
Flawless Complexion Clay Mask
Spread a generous amount over clean face and neck. Leave on for 15-20 minutes then rinse well with lukewarm water. Use twice per a week.
Hydra Quench Soothing Mask
Spread a generous amount over clean face and neck. Leave on for 5-10 minutes the rinse with lukewarm water. Use three times per a week.

Step 6 : Matifying Moisture cream Gel
Using your fingertips apply to the face and neck using a gentle upward motion. Use every morning and evening.

Step 7 : Under Eye Recover Gel
Apply a small amount lightly onto the bottom of the lid with a soft patting motion from the inner to outer eye area. Use every morning and evening.

Wa La! That is the process for me but I will admit I do not do it twice a day. I do choose to do it before bed because that way well you are sleeping your face is repairing, so I choose the night time for me instead of morning.

Having clear skin doesn't just only rely on your skin care products but also yourself by :

SLEEP
Getting a enough sleep at night, 7-8 hours preferably is what is going to keep you going through the day. A little day nap if possible for you for 15 min'utes is good also but not too long of a nap or else you will be up all night instead of sleeping when you really want to go to sleep.

EATING HEALTHY
Lots of Fruit & Vegetables over junk food will definitely help you out and as well maintain a healthy food habit. I am not saying to completely count out junk food but it's all in moderation. Don't choose junk food over something healthier because you're hungry but too lazy to get up and make it because there is some sort of junk food in front of you sitting closer than the healthier food. It will definitely give your body a sugar rush but you will become tired faster and not up to beat as opposed to eating some fruit or something healthier.

WATER!
It's literally my best friend! I never use to drink it regularly, I'll admit I would chose pop/soda, juice etc. just the sugary stuff all the time whether I was eating or just thirsty. It takes time to get into a routine of drinking lots of water because it took me steps at a time to gain my love for water. Once you do it is so worth it and not only does it help your body but it helps out your skin as well.

EXERCISE
It not only gives you energy but it can keep you in shape as well keep you toned up and healthy. It also was something I hadn't done for years which I'll admit to that too because after highschool and not having gym I didn't take it upon myself to go to the gym to workout. I guess for me at the time is wasn't a big deal or priority or matter really. It is such a great way to clear your mind also if you have a lot going on inside, if your like me the type to over-think things or are just frustrated I think it's a good option to choose!

Part 2 - The Lo-Down Quiz Results

Hey Beautiful Lovelies!

First off HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY everyone! :D

So I was flipping through my notes in my binder and I had done the quizzes in the book The Lo-Down and still have my answers. So I thought I would post what I chose and the outcome that was related to my choices.

The qualities are essentially the same; it's just the relationship that's different. You're picking guys that you know to be kind, thoughtful, compassionate and trustworthy. In addition, these guys look for the same qualities in you, and because you possess them they love you for who you are. Both sides understand that it's quality over quantity. It's a Passion, an Emotion, It's a Fashion [ BURLESQUE! ] ;)

Hello Beautiful Lovelies!! :D

Happy Friday! =) The weekend, how exciting! So, today after work I stopped and got a few things I have been wanting to get but just haven't made an effort to go get them and finally did today. My friday is definitely going to be a movie night for me tonight; however tomorrow and sunday will be spent at my grandparents visiting them. I think that is pretty much all I really have to mention. Oh, the post of the book was suppose to be up on Tuesday but that hasn't happened because I haven't finished reading the book. I have been so tired from being sick along with the medication to get rid of my brutal cough makes me tired, so I have to post-pone that post to either sunday night or else monday. Definitely, one of the two days it shall be up. I decided to get this post up since it's Friday and I haven't done one all week this week.
