Friday's Letters

Hey!

I know I haven't posted at all this week and I am so I have been so MIA but I have a lot of stuff going on so please bare with me. =) I wanted to at least do this for Friday because I haven't gotten a post up all week. So here I go..

Dear Kara, I am so glad you finally got the wedding card and gift I got for you and I am so happy it was the exact things you needed! I love how things like that surprisingly work out! And I love our quick messages we send back and forth because i love talking to you! You're amazing!! I am glad you are my cousin!! Dear Nancy, Thanks for totally having my back this week, legit! You're the best and I love you my sugar pops! haha! ;) Dear New Manager, I can actually say you're legit an awesome manager and I am actually glad that I have a new manager and it's you! Dear Cristina, It was a good time hanging out last Saturday! I had fun and that restaurant was so delicious! Yay, for random finds! =) Dear Amanda, Sorry we haven't crossed right paths this week with trying to make it work to actually get to hang out but hopefully for sure this week! Because I miss you and I was so excited when you stopped in last Friday I believe!!! Best Friday Ever! Dear Mom, Thanks for driving me to work this week when I had to be there incredibly early than normal and it was super super dark out still because nobody is up at 4:25 am in the morning getting ready unless catching a flight! So thanks I appreciate it, oh and for the ride to my dentist appointment too because I was late!! Dear Summer, You're almost over and I am going to miss you but I know fall is coming which I can handle it's just the wintery snow that isn't my cup of green tea. However, thanks for the amazing summer weather and the  awesome awesome summer clothes and the ability to wear shorts, dresses etc this summer a lot!! Dear Manager, Supervisor, & Team Hug, Thanks for ALL and I mean ALL your help this week with me! I truly truly appreciate it because I don't know how I would have made it through my work day without your guys help! So thank you, thank you, thank you, truly! Dear Work Homework, I am completely behind and my mentor is coming Tuesday.. milk chocolate cookies am I screwed if I don't have anything to show on Tuesday, but I will. I know I'll hold it down and get you somewhere in achievement. Dear Movies, Food, Family, and Friends, Thanks for all the good times lately this week, to movies thanks for the company when seeing them and for food, you're to die for.. food addict! :p Dear Book, I definitely was not expecting to stay up late to read you yesterday night/technically 2 am this morning. But I made it through work and only on 3 & 1/2 hours sleep, wicked  awesome but then again I was sleeping all day yesterday. Dear PINK, I love my new duffle bag it is fricken amazing!!! One of my co-workers called it a beauty and the beast bag, haha! I definitely can see why, it's a must get though!! Dear Time, Thanks for making me, be super on time and in order for work ever since I started having to do things more myself! Life saver, achiever happening right here! Dear iphone 5, This is taking forever to see the reveal and I am beginning to wonder if it's going to be super amazing? I hope hope to cupcake sprinkles it's going to be!! Please hurry asap, so I can get myself a new phone, thanks. love you apple. Dear Blog Life, Sorry I have not been up to date with anything this past week, not even my own blog.. please forgive me? Also please forgive me for not getting back to your comments yet. I am working on it, it's up there on my to do list, just please have patience with me. I have a lot going on work wise lately. I will try to get back to a few tomorrow or if not tomorrow Sunday. Please don't give up on me!  Dear Love / soulmate / other half / YOU, I hope I find you soon well wandering these roads that I have come onto and that you're looking for me well wandering where you need to go on your path to find me. Dear God, Thank you for your amazing love and making me make it through the hard part of everything I was questioning. I know it is just the beginning and I am just learning and trying it out and stuff but you've already brought me amazing feedback in the strength and guidance you walked as well as instilled in me of my times of worry. Thank you and thank you for your miracle work of seeing me through along with the calmness within.

Girl Run that Show

Hello Friday!!

I am not merely excited as for Saturday to come around but I am still glad and appreciative it's Friday today! So this week Friday is back to my regular Girl Run that Show. I know last Friday I did Friday's Letters which every now and again I will probably switch it up and do that over this. It all depends on what I feel like each Friday, you know what I am saying?!

1. I came across this quote last weekend and I just liked it so much I could not leave it alone and forget about it. It was just sitting there in the back of my mind after.. it's by Miley Cyrus "At some point you realize these people you're hanging out with are your 'party friends'; they're not going to give a shit about you in 10 years. Then you remember who you really want around you."

2. It's pretty much back to school soon for a lot of people, I kind of -- no I wish I was actually going back to school! Since I am not I am excited and looking forward to fall!! I know the New Year feels like a fresh start to a lot of people but I also feel that fall has that effect as well. I do hope for a lot of good things to happen in these next couple of months or than again not but i am going to choose to be hopeful! 

3. I mentioned here already on a past post of Girl Run that Show but I don't think I added in her tumblr and thought I should because she photographed Kristen's wedding if you have been reading Oh My My My (her love story)  http://shannonmiller.tumblr.com/ and this was another shooter at the wedding also and I thought I would add him in as well http://www.jordanvoth.com/blog.

4. I am so excited for Saturday to hang out with my friend!! I am so glad it worked out I didn't have plans or work or anything! :D I am super pumped. Also it is suppose to be really nice out this week +29, great weather, great way to enjoy the weekend and the outdoors but the coldness hits.

5. I liked this blog post and the video included because it was very interesting to me and I thought I would put it here for you to view for yourself.=)

6. A lot has happened this past week and I don't feel so overwhelmed and stressed out like before and the pressure that was there is now weight lifted off. (I am so thankful for my amazing friends for listening to me and everything during that time. You are the best!)

7. This song cover I randomly came across last night late. I am obsessed with the original singer of this song Bon Iver and I love along with listen to it quite a bit.


8. I already got cute fall jacket this week because I kept staring at it and I went back a second time and it was still there. I know if I would have gone back a 3rd time it would be gone and so I just got it because I kept thinking about it! I am excited to wear it for fall! I love the color, military green, baaaaby! haha! =)

9. I was excited to view the new ikea catalogue online the other night!! I love ikea and all the cool things they have!! I definitely could have had red sharpie circles all across the pages if I had a hard copy at hand! There is so many neat things I want from the 2013 catalogue.. it's insane!

10. Yesterday I went into Aldo and I found the most incredible heels and flats and they are smoke show stunner heels! They give you that stop and stare daaaaamn, those are fly heels, and look at her rock those, haha! Yep, I am hoping to get both pairs this week coming up because I couldn't decide on either or so I have to get both. They are killeeeeeer!

11. Woot, woot! excited to see my friend tomorrow because she is stopping by, yaaay! Way to make my Friday, joyous and happy!! I miss her tons! I have talked to her a lot this week though but still seeing in person and talking is not the same effect.

12. I have TONS of comments to reply back to and I have already read every single one of them, it's just finding the time to reply back to them. I am so behind on keeping up with other blogs lately with everything going on whether work, summer, family etc. It's just so busy and even more busy now that going back to school is popping up closer and closer. I will find some time this week to get back to you all, so please be patient with me. I really appreciate your comments, truly they are wonderful to read.

Sugar House Lane Sprinkles

Hello Tuesday!!

I am here to share with you all a new nail polish that I bought today after work, because I have been wanting a new one but nothing has really captured my attention to make me want to buy something new. Then boom, while on break my coworker shows me photos on her phone of these new polishes she bought yesterday and I was automatic omg I want! I already knew what color I wanted but I tried all the colors to see what they looked like to be sure. I like Sugar House Lane by Nails Inc. (Sprinkle Collection) it is just the perfect color that can go with anything in my opinion. I only put one coat on my nails and it went on so smooth for me. I really love nails inc., I think I like it more than OPI a bit. I don't know what it is about there nail polishes, but the ones I do have so far in my collection I haven't had anything bad yet to say about them with the very few colors I have from that brand. The other ones were meh, okay but not my cup of tea or make me go I have to have them but they are cool colors also. I know this has probably been out in the U.K. already long time ago and the States has had it for a bit I think but it just arrived here in Canada. There is 3 other sprinkle colors to choose from for those who are curious. This is all I have to mention for today, have a lovely day!

I wanted to come on here to talk about this because I am such a huge fan of Taylor Swift, yep! She released her cover album today on youtube webchat and a new song also! I wanted to come on here to show it, for those that are Taylor Swift fans! =) Her song is called WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER and her album is dropping October 22, 2012 she said! Yaay, just made my day! I think this single is or should be up on itunes for purchase for those that want it right NOW! lol! Have a lovely evening!!

Oh, the places you'll go

Hello Monday!!

I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend! =) Oh and I must add in that you should go see The Campaign with Will Ferrell if you didn't on the weekend! I did and it was a good laugh and just what I needed after a long, stressful week.

On to this post for today.. so I just wanted to talk about organization and something I do to help me out! I know there are agendas, your cellular phone and other forms to keep all this together but I liked this idea. I have had it for months now and thought it's time to mention it! I started doing this before the New Year I believe this sticky note chart, organization on the back of my door. I wanted to try it out because I thought  it was a cool idea but I made my own headers of what I wanted. (Sorry for the weirdness of the post it underneath I had specific information, so that why they look mashed up.)

The first photos are what my door was like up until recently Sunday. I have changed it, meaning the headers and what I want them to say and got more specific. The other header titles were more open and maybe vague to some or purely simple but I wanted to get into detail. So for my new header titles I broke it down and these are the categories I decided on with looking at my overall life. These are areas I want to make sure to keep focus on and not lose sight of pushing them out for "being too busy" to make time for these things in my life. The following of my newly redone chart is in an order of most importance to important, if that makes sense. I don't want to say least important because then it wouldn't be up there at all or shouldn't be up there at all. I always add in the Goals header, because before I wasn't going to but then I was like no I should have a goals header! I should have it because it holds myself accountable for things by seeing it visually instead of "oh I have or want to do this but not doing it or making excuses" I added that in and it doesn't have to be big goals but simple goals for the week like read for an hour every night or read 3 chapters this week. Whatever your little heart desires and soul wants you to achieve you name it, write it and see if you are holding yourself accountable for it! The reason why I like this idea and am mentioning it only now is because #one. I wanted to try it out first and #second I have tried it for several months. Having said that I have pulled off so many stickies and put up new ones, that I know this works for me and I get to see all the things accomplished! It's a great feeling and a great way to look at the end of the week and be like oh wow I accomplished a lot this week or I never really did one single thing. It holds you accountable and I think it's a great thing and something to keep you motivated.

All you need to do this is a pack of sticky notes (post it's - if you want to be technical).. I like color so I got the colored ones! Some sharpies in various colors or you can stick to your simple boring black.

This time I chose Gold for my headers in the Sharpie marker. Next each color of sticky notes is your choice to choose what you want under each category. For example if you want pink for family then you can specify it that way or you can simply use different colors for each category because it already has a header. It is all up to you! This is how I did mine and my category headers. For the headers of family, friends, and life I chose the pink sticky notes for those categories. (blue sharpie) Then for the headers of appointments, to do's, and work I chose orange stickies. (green sharpie) Next headers I chose blog and goals to do in green. (bronze sharpie) For my final catorgory I chose white for television shows (silver sharpie) because I usually forget or get busy and there are too many shows on in the fall to keep up and remember in my brain.

Those are my categories, I am sure I may switch categories out but I kind of doubt it, I feel I would more than likely add in a category in the near future. As for the categories family and life I don't have anything to add into there right now because everything in the area I already have done these past couple weeks \ two months, so that is why it is empty if anyone is wondering. :p

Dear NL, Thank you for your guidance and making me see things a lot more clearer, open and not as narrower as I was viewing it before. Dear Amanda, Thank you for being there for me and listening to me even though we don't work together anymore. I appreciate you listening to me and talking to me. Dear Cristina, I really enjoyed hanging out with you yesterday, however I know it could have been a better hangout. And sorry if I don't seem all there lately with everything that is going on.. and I know I had a whole lot to share and I probably forgot to mention half of it. Thank you for listening to me and sharing your stories with me, I was glad to hangout with you because it had been a long time since last did. Oh and and that instagram photo made my night, thanks again! Dear Sarah, Thank you for your advice this week, I honestly was not expecting it at all but I am glad what my thoughts I had wasn't far fetched. Also for helping me out at work when I was stressing out, thanks I appreciate that also. Dear Family, Thank you for your amazing food while camping with you guys last weekend, it was fricken delicious! Oh and also thank you for worrying about me and making sure I am feeling alright, I love you guys. Dear Cousin (not technically cousins but known me my whole life), Thank you for listening to my ideas and giving me some pointers and advice even though it may have been super quick and couldn't really discuss anything more. I appreciate it. Dear Bath and Body Works, Thank you for your amazing candle Sweet Macaron and I am glad I got my friend one too! Dear Coles, Thank you for the fact that I found two books there to read when I only was looking for one. Dear Aunt and Uncle, Thank you for wanting to go out to have dinner with us tonight! I am excited, especially since it's a great way to the end of the week. Dear Stomach, I noticed butterflies the other day and I haven't felt that feeling in a really really really long time.. Dear Joyce, I can't wait to hang out with you on Thursday! It seems so long and forever and I miss yooou very much! Excited!!  Dear Life, Please have some divine plan for me for all this stressing out and worrying I have been going through for this past month. I really do not understand anything of it or if my decision is a correct one or if I am simply over thinking it or what?! Dear God, I really have no clue as of lately of anything. I don't understand the analyzing of things that I would never analyze before.. and I am not sure where this journey is taking me. I hope there is some kind of something (a lesson, message, a meeting of someone or an experience to make me realize something) I don't know at ALL at the moment but I trust in you that you know what greatness is going to come about to me?

Hello Monday!

Hello Friday!
Hello August Long Week!
Hello to Keeping Busy this Weekend!

Yaay, it's Friday and I am getting this up before I leave today or else there will be another week without this post and I cannot leave you guys hanging again for another week. So without further a do, here I go!

1. To start off with number one.. I am going to put a video of a cover I have been listening to this week that I found once I got home from my little vacay and enjoy very much at the moment.

3. Oh and I saw Justin Bieber's new video yesterday and whoa he's growing up.. you should view it if you want to.

5. My lovely friend comes home from her vacation today!! Yaaay, I hope she had a great time! I cannot wait to meet up this week because it seems a very long time since we last hung out. I miss her so much and talking to her!! I can't wait to share with her everything.. stories and pretty little hearts. 

6. I am excited for today after work to have lunch with my other friend, who I no longer work with because she has her other job. She is doing great things at her other job and I am so so so proud of her and all of the things she is accomplishing! I will miss working with her a lot, but we definitely will keep in contact for sure because she is amazing! She is such a great person, friend and a extremely hard worker! She always has my back and vice versa.

7. Another thing I am excited for this weekend that I already mentioned was how this weekend is August long weekend. I am excited to see my family and to eat, haha! I love my families cooking and especially baking, it's to die for! Non-stop eating here I come Friday and Saturday. I know such a short visit but I have to work the Sunday and Monday or else I would stay until the Monday. Two days is better than not going at all. 

8. I am excited for the end of August to share with you guys a post on someone else's blog! I will announce that when it happens! I am excited about it but not too sure exactly what I want to write yet but I have some ideas floating around. Hopefully what ideas I have floating around comes into fruition! 

9. I really really need a new phone! I saw the Samsung Galaxy iii yesterday and it seems cool but I really want an iphone more. I am hoping this Fall or Christmas they are going to release a new iphone!! ?? I know how I am if I were to get a new phone now and I like something else later.. I will probably be in the 'i should have waited'. I definitely need a new phone because I am not anywhere near the new updated phones with instagram and all that jazz. 

10. I think this is the end for this weeks post and I will leave you with this picture I bought on my way home from my little vacay pit stop to getting home. I had to purchase it as soon as I seen it! If you are wondering, I got it from Winners. I immediately hung this baaaaby up on my wall in my room when I got home and finished unpacking.

Golden Sunshine

Good Day!

It's Thursday and we are almost to Friday, yaaay! I cannot wait because my beautiful friend is coming home!! And I am going to eat Friday with my other friend, which I am so excited and then later after hanging out going to visit my family. Since it's the long weekend  they are all camping and I am going to go Friday and Saturday to visit with them because I love seeing them. And usually I never see them that often besides this year where I have a lot because of certain unfortunate circumstances but I am excited!!! Especially, because I love my families baking and cooking, food gaaaaloore!!

I got these last week when I had to go to a meeting for work. I love gold jewelry, that is my go to color. I never pick silver looking ones at all or if do very randomly because it's mixed. It never appeals to me really. However, without further a do here is some goodies that I love that I have gotten and I think I have some from a while back too to post, so I will add those here too. I hope you guys enjoy this post today! :D The ones from after the feather earrings to the two birds necklace are my most recent purchases the rest I got a while ago but never got around to posting them.

For some further information 1. the ring in the first photo to the right is from Aldo 2. the three rings came from I believe forever21, the first ring might have been Aldo 3. the feather looking earrings came from forever21 also I believe 4. the love rings are from Aldo 5. the two birds necklace is from Aldo 6. the three bracelets that say love, heart shape, love are from Aerie 7. the purple earrings, at the bottom are from Aldo.
